When choosing between the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS ROG Strix G18, consider that the Z13 offers more portability and a lower price, making it suitable for everyday tasks and light gaming. On the other hand, the Strix G18 delivers superior performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and high-end gaming, but at a higher cost and with less emphasis on battery life and ease of transport. Your decision should align with whether your priority is high-performance computing or a balance between functionality and mobility. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G18 has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 for gaming and AI, content creation, and software development.
When considering general use, both the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS ROG Strix G18 offer excellent screen quality due to their high resolution and panel type which provide sharp images and vivid colors coupled with good brightness for viewing in various lighting conditions. For engineering and design, these models excel as they cover a wide color gamut, ensuring accurate color representation which is critical for detailed and color-sensitive work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, despite their high resolution and quality panel, they fall short because of their lower refresh rates, leading to less fluid motion which is key for fast-paced and immersive visual experiences.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024) compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
