The ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024) is a high-performance laptop with a premium price, designed for intense gaming and demanding tasks. It has a large 18-inch IPS display with high brightness and color coverage, perfect for both work and play, but this also makes it less portable due to its size and weight of over 6 pounds. The powerful Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics make it excellent for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering software. With 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, multitasking and large projects are handled with ease. It boasts an extensive array of ports including USB-C and Thunderbolt 4, though its battery life is limited, making frequent access to a power source necessary. The backlit keyboard and build quality are exceptional, but if you value portability and longer battery life, you may want to consider other options. Give Feedback

4.6
The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is excellent for general use as it has a powerful CPU and ample RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and high processing capabilities, along with a high-quality screen delivering sharp, vibrant images. NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | March 2023
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."
