The ASUS R410MA is a budget-friendly option with basic performance, suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and document editing, with a longer battery life and lighter weight for mobility. The Dell G15 5520 offers much higher performance with advanced specifications, making it better for gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering work. However, it's heavier, which might affect portability and has shorter battery life. If cost is a concern and your tasks are not demanding, the ASUS could serve well. If you need power for intensive tasks and can manage a higher price and less portability, then the Dell G15 is a better fit. Give Feedback

The Dell G15 5520 is good for general use, while the ASUS R410MA is poor.
The ASUS R410MA is not as suitable for general use because it has a lower-quality CPU and less RAM, which may lead to slower performance in multitasking and everyday tasks, while its TN screen offers inferior color and viewing angles compared to the Dell G15 5520's IPS display. The Dell G15 5520, on the other hand, includes a high-end CPU, more RAM, and a quality screen, making it more suitable for a variety of tasks, though it is less portable and has a shorter battery life.

The Dell G15 5520 has a better screen than the ASUS R410MA for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS R410MA's screen may not offer the clarity and vibrancy required for activities that demand high visual precision due to its lower resolution and brightness, making it less suitable across various uses. The Dell G15 5520 provides a sharper and brighter display, enhancing visibility and detail for general use and engineering tasks where color accuracy and a wide range of colors are crucial. However, for gaming and 3D work, despite good resolution and quality, the Dell's potentially lower refresh rate can limit the smoothness of fast-paced visuals compared to screens optimized for these purposes.

"The Asus Laptop L410 is a super-affordable PC, even among budget notebooks, compromising on the display and processing power to deliver a serviceable Windows machine with good battery life and useful ports. The build is reasonably solid, there’s a good mix of ports, battery life is long enough, and it can perform basic everyday tasks. On the flip side, the screen is poor, anything other than basic tasks is a tough ask, and it has little memory and even less storage."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
