Considering your options between the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (2023) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15"), the MacBook Pro is significantly more expensive but offers robust performance with a high-quality display and long battery life, ideal for intensive tasks such as 3D rendering or engineering work and for creative professionals who require precision in color and display quality. Its build quality and speakers are also superior. On the other hand, the IdeaPad is much more affordable and still capable for general use, casual gaming, and some engineering tasks, but its performance in these areas doesn't match the MacBook Pro. Its portability is slightly better due to a lighter weight, but it falls short in battery life, screen quality, and overall performance. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 16 offers a high-resolution display with exceptional brightness and color accuracy, which makes for a crisp and vibrant viewing experience for general use and color-critical tasks like engineering and design, but its standard refresh rate makes it less suitable for 3D applications that require smooth motion. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a fair-quality screen with adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and casual design work, though it may not provide the wide color gamut professionals need. For gaming and 3D, the IdeaPad's screen falls short, as its lower refresh rate can result in less fluid motion and a less immersive experience.

"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
