Between the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the LG Ultra 16, if you prioritize performance for intensive tasks like video editing and music production, the MacBook Pro with its powerful M2 chip offers superb performance and excellent build quality. Its Retina display and longer battery life are great for media consumption, but it is less portable due to its heavier weight. Conversely, the LG Ultra 16, while being more portable with a lighter design, might not match the MacBook's performance but is a more versatile choice for general use with Windows 11, a larger screen, more storage, and more RAM. The LG's additional ports also offer more connectivity options, which could be beneficial if you frequently connect to multiple peripherals. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the LG Ultra 16 for general use, AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 offers a high-resolution display with excellent brightness and a panel type that renders sharp and vibrant images, making it ideal for general use and engineering tasks that require accurate color representation. However, its screen may not be optimized for 3D applications due to a standard refresh rate that doesn't match the smoother visuals demanded by such content. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 16 provides a satisfactory display for everyday tasks and design work, with decent color accuracy, but its performance might fall short for gaming and 3D due to less emphasis on high refresh rates.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
