The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is a solid choice if you value long battery life, a high-quality build, and a lightweight design that's easy to carry around. It also provides silent operation due to its fanless design. However, if performance is a priority, particularly for 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo LOQ 16 would be better as it has a more powerful AMD processor and Nvidia graphics. The Lenovo also offers a larger screen and is more suitable for gaming but is heavier and has shorter battery life compared to the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro generally comes at a somewhat higher price compared to the Lenovo. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 16 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo LOQ 16 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, the MacBook Pro's high-resolution Retina display delivers crisp text and images, bolstered by impressive brightness, whereas the Lenovo may offer similar resolution and quality but typically falls short on maximum brightness. When working with engineering and design, the MacBook's wide color gamut covers a broad spectrum including DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, ensuring color accuracy essential for professional work; the Lenovo, while serviceable, might not provide as extensive color coverage. For 3D and gaming, the MacBook Pro is less ideal due to a standard refresh rate, making it less fluid than other laptops with higher refresh rates, which are vital for smooth visuals; Lenovo’s limitation might also be its refresh rate, despite adequate resolution and panel technology.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Lenovo LOQ 16 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
