The Razer Blade 18, although more expensive, offers a much more powerful processor and graphics card, more storage and memory, making it better suited for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering. The Razer Blade 18 is also equipped with features catering to gaming, such as a high refresh rate screen, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which could be a drawback if mobility is a priority. The Razer Blade 18 has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) excels in general use and engineering/design due to its high resolution and bright display, providing crisp and clear visuals, as well as its wide color gamut ensuring accurate color reproduction important for design work. However, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for 3D applications, where fast, smooth rendering is key. Conversely, the Razer Blade 18, while also boasting a high-quality display with similar attributes beneficial for general tasks and precise color work, falls short for gaming and 3D due to its poor refresh rate, which is critical for a fluid and immersive experience in these areas.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
