The MSI Vector GP76 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is only fair.
The MacBook Pro 13 (2020) uses an Apple M1 chip with an integrated 8-core GPU which is fine for some 3D tasks, but its 60Hz screen refresh rate and limitations with game compatibility on macOS reduce its effectiveness for gaming compared to MSI Vector GP76. The MSI laptop comes with a high-end Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a 360Hz refresh rate screen, offering high-level gaming and 3D performance particularly suitable for demanding games and applications that benefit from fast, smooth visual output.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the MSI Vector GP76 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Vector GP76 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) excels in screen quality for general use and engineering with its high resolution, bright display, and excellent color accuracy, covering a wide color gamut necessary for precise design work. The MSI Vector GP76 also provides good screen quality with respectable brightness and resolution, aiding in detail-oriented tasks like engineering and design, though it may not match the MacBook's color fidelity. For 3D applications, the MacBook's lower refresh rate holds it back compared to gaming laptops designed for high frame rates, while the MSI's refresh rate may be better for gaming but is still considered suboptimal for that specific use.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the MSI Vector GP76 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The MSI Vector GP76 12UGS is a gaming laptop on speed. The advantages are clear: The Vector GP76 is a real gamer with its 360 Hz display and super-fast response times. In addition, the Core i7-12700H has double the power of the CPU in its predecessor and another highlight is the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti with a real power consumption of 150 watts. This places the device in the top range of our database. The Vector can also operate rather quietly, offers a full sound range, improved battery runtimes, a key-configurable RGB keyboard, a very stable chassis and good upgrade options. Moreover, the display produces a nice, rich and clear picture."
