The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) excels in battery life and is more portable than the HP Omen 15, making it an excellent choice for users who prioritize mobility and long hours of use without charging. However, for tasks that demand high performance such as 3D rendering, machine learning, or heavy computational work, the HP Omen 15, with its robust processor and dedicated graphics card, is superior. Though the Omen is less portable, it is also well-equipped for gaming, thanks to hardware features tailored to that purpose, unlike the MacBook Pro. Therefore, your choice should closely consider your need for mobility against your requirement for powerful computing capabilities and gaming readiness. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) boasts a high-resolution display with excellent brightness and color accuracy, making it ideal for general use and demanding tasks like engineering and design, where precise color reproduction is key. However, its lower refresh rate limits its ability to smoothly render fast-moving imagery, which is crucial for 3D applications. On the other hand, the HP Omen 15, designed with gaming in mind, has a good balance of resolution and brightness for daily tasks and the color range for technical work, but it lags behind in screen quality for gaming and 3D due to a poorer refresh rate compared to specialized gaming laptops.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the HP Omen 15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"We consider around 1,260 Euros (~$1530) for a Ryzen 7 4800H, a GeForce RTX 2060, a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB dual-channel RAM to be a good offer that appeals to price-conscious gamers. Very high details are rarely a problem in the native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Buyers will also be spoiled with a top-notch battery life that even beats most other notebook classes. If HP now improves the speed of the WLAN module, the stability of the case and the repeatedly criticized picture quality, the competition will have to dress extra warmly."
