The MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is known for its sleek design, quiet operation, and long battery life, making it a solid choice for general use, particularly for users who prefer macOS and value portability. On the other hand, the Eluktronics RP-15 offers better performance for 3D tasks, machine learning, and gaming due to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics, but it is heavier and has a larger form factor which reduces portability. If your work involves intensive tasks like engineering software or gaming, the RP-15 stands out, but for everyday tasks and carrying around, the MacBook Pro 13 could be more convenient. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics RP-15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is good.
The Eluktronics RP-15 offers greater performance for engineering and design due to its higher RAM capacity, more advanced CPU and GPU which are essential for demanding tasks, and a screen with a higher refresh rate for smoother visuals, but it's heavier and thicker than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020), making it less portable. While the MacBook Pro 13—which boasts an excellent screen, a superior keyboard, silent operation, and longer battery life—is more portable and suited for on-the-go use, its performance is not as robust as the RP-15 for the most intensive tasks.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Eluktronics RP-15 for software development, while the Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) is equipped with a high-resolution Retina display providing outstanding color accuracy and brightness, making it excellent for general use and detailed engineering or design work where color gamuts like DCI-P3 matter. However, its refresh rate is lower, which isn't ideal for 3D applications where fast screen updates are crucial. The Eluktronics RP-15 also has a high-quality display with good resolution and color reproduction suitable for general use and engineering tasks, but its gaming and 3D experiences are limited by the screen's lower refresh rate compared to specialized gaming laptops.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) and the Eluktronics RP-15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
