The MacBook Air 15 (2023) generally offers a larger screen, more storage, and better battery life, which is ideal for those who prioritize media consumption and longer usage times away from power sources. However, if your work involves more intensive tasks like video editing or software development, the MacBook Pro 13 (2020) has a more powerful processor and better thermal management, which translates to improved performance for demanding applications. The Pro model also is more suitable if you prefer a more portable and slightly more affordable device, as it is lighter and often priced lower than newer models. Keep in mind, none are particularly suited for intensive gaming or upgradeable after purchase. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Air 15 has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for AI, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the MacBook Air and Pro have high-resolution displays that are bright and clear with panel types that render crisp text and vibrant colors, making them excellent choices. For engineering and design tasks, these MacBooks offer wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation which is crucial for professionals in these fields. However, both models fall short for 3D purposes due to their standard refresh rates, as higher rates are preferred for smoother rendering and better 3D visual experiences.

How the Apple MacBook Air 15 (2023) and the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air 15 is boringly good. The new MacBook Air 15 is a very good, but also boring device, because apart from the larger screen and the higher price, there are no differences compared to the smaller MacBook Air M2 from last year. No new processor, no additional ports, just the usual basic hardware - but the overall package is extremely good and it simply works. Above all, the lack of fans is an aspect that should not be underestimated in everyday use. In our opinion, the Air could be a lot better, but Apple goes easy on itself here."
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
