If you prioritize a balance between performance and portability for daily tasks and casual content creation, the Acer Swift X can be a good choice, considering it has a reputation for solid performance in a lightweight design. However, if you are looking for a laptop more suited for gaming or resource-intensive tasks and you don't mind a heavier device with shorter battery life, the HP Victus 15 could serve you better, especially if you are looking to save some money. The Swift X may offer better build quality and display, but the Victus tends to provide more power for demanding applications and games. Give Feedback

The HP Victus 15 and Acer Swift X (2021) are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Swift X is fair for gaming and 3D tasks thanks to its Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU and standard screen refresh rate, but the HP Victus 15 offers a higher refresh rate which is paramount for smooth gameplay, coupled with the same GPU for graphic performance, making it better suited for such tasks despite its somewhat bulkier form and potential portability trade-offs. How the Acer Swift X (2021) and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
