The Acer Swift X is well-suited for intensive tasks like 3D work, machine learning, or gaming due to its higher performance thanks to a more powerful processor and graphics card, but this also means it comes at a higher cost and might have a shorter battery life. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", on the other hand, may be more affordable, offering a balance for general use with longer battery life and ease of portability, but it won't handle demanding applications as effectively as the Swift X. Consider what is more crucial to you: advanced performance for specialized tasks or portability and battery life for everyday use. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X (2022) is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Acer Swift X (2022) is equipped with a higher-performing Intel i7 processor, more RAM, and a separate Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card, enhancing its ability to handle engineering software and complex designs compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" which has an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with integrated graphics and less RAM. Additionally, the Acer has a higher resolution screen with superior color coverage, contributing to better visual clarity for design tasks, whereas the Lenovo's screen has standard resolution and lower color accuracy, making it less optimal for such uses.

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X offers a higher resolution and brighter display, providing clearer and more vibrant visuals for general use and intricate tasks like engineering and design, where details and accurate color reproduction are vital. However, its refresh rate is not high enough for the smooth visuals demanded by gaming and 3D applications. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", with fair screen quality, suffices for basic tasks and some design work but its color range and lower brightness level don't fully meet the professional standards required for precision in design, nor does it offer the high refresh rate needed for optimal gaming and 3D modeling experiences.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
