The Acer Swift X (2023) is generally more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", but it offers better performance for intensive engineering tasks and 3D/machine learning applications due to its more powerful Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card. It also has higher RAM which contributes to its performance. However, the battery life on the Acer is standard, and it's relatively portable, making it suitable for on-the-go usage.
On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is less expensive and has a larger screen with touch capability, but it falls behind in performance because of its AMD Ryzen 7 integrated graphics. It's slightly heavier than the Acer and has a lower battery capacity, which might not be ideal for long periods away from power sources. The Lenovo is better suited for general use and light tasks. Both have 512 GB storage capacity and run Windows 11 Home. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X has a high-resolution display and good brightness, which enhances visibility and sharpness for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, plus it covers a wider color gamut providing accuracy crucial for design professionals. On the other hand, its lower refresh rate could make fast-paced visuals in gaming and 3D applications less smooth compared to specialized gaming laptops. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", with fair screen resolution and brightness, meets the basic requirements for general and engineering use, but the same limitations in color range and refresh rate make it less ideal for both professional design and immersive gaming experiences.

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
