The Acer Swift X (2023) is a midrange laptop with a 14.5-inch IPS display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 16:10 aspect ratio, making it suitable for both productivity and light gaming, thanks to its Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU. It has an Intel i5-13500H processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, striking a balance between performance for general use and more demanding tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning. With a 76Wh battery, it offers decent battery life, although intensive tasks will consume power more quickly. At 3.31 pounds, it's relatively portable, and its backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, and Windows 11 Home OS enhance its user-friendliness. However, it's not equipped with hardware ray tracing or DLSS for high-end gaming or specialized machine learning tasks. The laptop's build and color representation are very good, catering well to general use and creativity work. It comes with multiple USB-C ports, with support for charging over USB-C, ensuring convenient connectivity and power options. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | March 2022
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
