The Acer Swift 3 typically costs less and comes with more RAM, which is beneficial for multitasking and more demanding tasks. However, the ASUS Zenbook 13, while generally pricier, boasts an OLED screen known for its superior color range and contrast, which makes it ideal for activities where screen quality is paramount, such as photo editing or media consumption. The Zenbook is slightly lighter and thinner, enhancing its portability, but it has less RAM which might slow you down during heavy multitasking or complex operations. The Swift 3 also has a touchscreen which could be useful for hands-on interaction, while the Zenbook does not. If battery life is a concern, the Zenbook falls short with less usage time between charges. When it comes to performance, although both laptops are competent for general use, neither is designed for heavy gaming or intensive engineering software, but the Swift's additional RAM could give it an edge in handling more demanding applications. The Acer Swift 3 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook 13 for software development, while the ASUS Zenbook 13 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
If you prioritize screen detail and clarity for everyday tasks or detailed engineering work, the ASUS Zenbook 13, with its superior resolution and brightness, provides a crisper and more vibrant display. For those involved in engineering and design, where color accuracy is crucial, the Zenbook's wider color gamuts ensure that colors are reproduced more faithfully. However, for gaming or 3D applications where fast motion is common, both of these laptops may fall short due to lower refresh rates, which could result in less fluid on-screen action.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the ASUS Zenbook 13 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The Asus ZenBook 13 is a compact 13-inch laptop with a fast Ryzen 7 5800U and OLED display. The subnotebook is also light and the modern design is convincing. The selection of high-quality materials make the device not only light, but also very stable. In addition, the visuals and haptics of the device offers a high-quality impression. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800U is a very good fit for the ZenBook 13, ensuring a high performance in the test. However, in terms of the 3D performance, we also notice that the Vega architecture is beginning to hit its limits."
