The Acer Swift 3 is a laptop at a budget price with a touch display. It offers 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM, powered by an Intel i5-1240P processor with integrated Iris Xe graphics, making it suitable for general use and capable of handling everyday tasks efficiently. The 14-inch IPS display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a touchscreen feature and is built for optimum viewing at a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. Its battery life is favorable with up to 12 hours of typical usage, and its portability is very good considering its light 2.76-pound weight and 0.63-inch thickness. This model includes a variety of ports, including 2 USB-C, with support for USB-C charging, but lacks dedicated Ethernet and Thunderbolt 4 ports. With Windows 11 Home pre-installed and a backlit keyboard, it merges productivity and convenience, while the lack of a number pad and dedicated GPU means it's not designed for intensive gaming or heavy engineering tasks. Its release date is May 2023, which suggests recent hardware and software features. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | February 2022
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
