The Acer Predator Triton 300 offers higher performance for tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, thanks to its more powerful dedicated graphics card. However, its battery life is shorter than the MacBook Pro's, making it less suitable for extended use away from power outlets. Conversely, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) with the M1 chip is more portable due to its lighter weight and longer battery life, making it a better choice for general use on the go. It also has a higher resolution screen with better color accuracy, which might be important if your work involves visual media. Both laptops are similarly priced, so your choice should depend on whether you prioritize performance for specific intensive tasks or portability and battery life for general use. Give Feedback

The Acer Predator Triton 300 has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for gaming and AI, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Predator Triton 300, with its strong resolution and brightness, complements everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate diminishes the gaming and 3D experience where fluid motion is key. On the other hand, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) boasts superior color accuracy critical for engineering and design and excellent visual traits for general use, yet falls short for 3D content due to its less optimal refresh rate. Both laptops offer screen qualities tailored to specific needs, so choosing the right one depends on your primary use: impeccable color and visual detail for work or smoother visuals for interactive 3D applications.

The Acer Predator Triton 300 and Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) are both good for engineering and design.
The Acer Predator Triton 300 is well-suited for engineering and design due to its high-performance Intel i7 processor, dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU, and ample 16GB of RAM, which handle demanding tasks and graphics-intensive applications; however, its larger size and heavier weight reduce its portability. Conversely, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 with its efficient Apple M1 chip integrates CPU and GPU in a compact form factor, delivering good performance and extremely high-resolution screen quality with better portability, but with less RAM and without a dedicated GPU, it may fall short in more GPU-intensive engineering tasks.

How the Acer Predator Triton 300 and the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) compare to other laptops
"In our particular review configuration, the Acer Predator Triton 300 turned out to be a fairly powerful gaming notebook. Both CPU and GPU performance were at a high level, and the aluminum case turned out to be fairly robust. Only the display lid could have been a bit more robust. For customers on a budget that do not mind tinkering with the device’s fan management the Acer Predator Triton 300 can be worth a closer look."
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
