If you're focused on performance, especially for gaming or 3D applications, the Acer Nitro 16 with its higher-tier graphics card and processor would be a better choice. However, it's heavier and less portable than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", which still offers good performance for general use and has a higher portability score. The Lenovo also has a touchscreen and is more affordable. Both have the same storage capacity, but the Acer provides more RAM, which is beneficial for multitasking and more demanding tasks. The battery life is significantly longer on the Lenovo, making it more suited for on-the-go use without frequent charging. Give Feedback

The Acer Nitro 16 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The Acer Nitro 16 outperforms the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" in gaming and 3D tasks mainly due to its Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, which is more powerful and supports ray tracing and DLSS, and its high screen refresh rate of 165Hz that ensures smoother visuals. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad relies on its CPU's integrated graphics, Vega 8, which is less capable for demanding graphics tasks and offers a standard refresh rate of 60Hz, resulting in less fluid gameplay and 3D performance.

The Acer Nitro 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Nitro 16 provides a richer visual experience for general use and engineering tasks due to its superior panel type, offering sharper resolution and higher brightness, which enhances viewing clarity and detail. For engineering and design purposes, this laptop displays a wider range of colors, covering a broader spectrum of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, which is crucial for precision in color-critical work. However, its lower refresh rate hinders its performance for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion and rapid screen updates are key for an optimal experience.

How the Acer Nitro 16 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"Video editing, rendering and, of course, gaming represent the Nitro 16's core competencies with a Ryzen 7 7735HS and GeForce RTX 4070 providing the necessary power. Both chips run at consistently high clock speeds. A fast PCIe 4 SSD (1 TB) provides the required storage space and ensures short loading times. With the Nitro 16 AN16-41, Acer has a well-specced, mid-range gaming laptop in its portfolio."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
