When choosing between the Acer Nitro 16 and the HP Victus 15, consider the following tradeoffs: The Acer Nitro 16 is more expensive but provides better gaming performance with a stronger graphics card and processor, more RAM, and a higher resolution display with a wider aspect ratio, which could enhance multi-tasking and content viewing experience. It also has a marginally larger screen and longer battery life. On the other hand, the HP Victus 15 is less expensive with moderate gaming capabilities due to a less powerful graphics card and processor, smaller RAM, and a standard full HD display. It is also lighter, which makes it more portable for everyday use. If gaming and high-performance tasks are a priority and you don't mind the higher cost and less portability, the Acer Nitro 16 could be the better choice. However, if you are looking for a more budget-friendly option that still handles games and daily tasks adequately and is easier to carry around, the HP Victus 15 could be suitable. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2023
"Video editing, rendering and, of course, gaming represent the Nitro 16's core competencies with a Ryzen 7 7735HS and GeForce RTX 4070 providing the necessary power. Both chips run at consistently high clock speeds. A fast PCIe 4 SSD (1 TB) provides the required storage space and ensures short loading times. With the Nitro 16 AN16-41, Acer has a well-specced, mid-range gaming laptop in its portfolio."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
