The Acer Nitro 16 leans towards gaming and intensive tasks with a high-performance GPU and CPU, which also means it is heavier and could have louder fans when running demanding applications. The HP Spectre x360, on the other hand, is more versatile with a touchscreen and a design suited for business and general use, and it's lighter, enhancing portability. If gaming or 3D rendering is paramount, the Acer would be ideal, but for mixed usage like note-taking, presentations, and everyday tasks with the occasional need for performance, the Spectre’s portability and versatility may be more appealing. Both laptops have similar battery life and storage, but the Spectre's display has a higher resolution, potentially offering sharper images for creative work. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | June 2023
"Video editing, rendering and, of course, gaming represent the Nitro 16's core competencies with a Ryzen 7 7735HS and GeForce RTX 4070 providing the necessary power. Both chips run at consistently high clock speeds. A fast PCIe 4 SSD (1 TB) provides the required storage space and ensures short loading times. With the Nitro 16 AN16-41, Acer has a well-specced, mid-range gaming laptop in its portfolio."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2022
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
