The Acer Aspire 5 offers a larger screen and more memory at a significantly lower cost, making it budget-friendly for everyday tasks and some heavier applications. On the other hand, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 provides a higher-resolution display in a more compact and lighter form, along with better build quality and a reputation for smoother performance in creative software. It's also recognized for having a longer battery life. If portability, display quality, and a macOS experience are crucial, the MacBook might be worth the extra investment. However, if you need a larger screen, more storage, and prefer Windows without spending as much, the Acer Aspire 5 is a solid choice. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 15 for general use, AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MacBook Pro's high-resolution display and bright panel enhance viewing clarity and comfort, while the Acer Aspire's screen, although decent, might not be as sharp or bright. In engineering and design tasks, the MacBook Pro stands out with a wider color spectrum, essential for precision in color-grading and detailed graphical work, something the Aspire may lack due to its more limited color range. However, for 3D and gaming, while both laptops don't excel due to lower refresh rates, users may find the Acer Aspire less suitable as the MacBook’s superior resolution and panel type can still provide a better visual experience for less demanding graphics work.

How the Acer Aspire 5 15 and the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2020) compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 15 is a good value office laptop with reasonable battery life. The combination of slim exterior, relatively low weight (approx. 1.7 kg) and 8 hour real-life battery runtime makes the Acer Aspire a truly mobile laptop. The modest Tiger Lake processor supports this area and simultaneously ensures an affordable price point. The Aspire produces little noise and stays cool. The screen (FHD, IPS) might not win any prizes but is entirely appropriate for the price."
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
