The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is a budget-friendly option, with a touch screen and a 360-degree hinge for versatile use; however, it is less powerful, making it suitable for general use and multitasking but not intensive tasks. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" costs more but comes with a more powerful AMD Ryzen processor and higher graphics capabilities, making it better for engineering, 3D rendering, and machine learning. With a larger screen, it may offer a more comfortable viewing experience for prolonged work, but it will be less portable than the Spin 14 due to its larger size and weight. Choose the Acer for cost savings and portability or the Lenovo for enhanced performance in demanding applications. Give Feedback

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."

LaptopMedia

Alex Iliev | April 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
