The LG A1 OLED is a great choice if you prioritize deep blacks, wide viewing angles, and excellent color accuracy, making it ideal for watching movies in a dark room. However, it's not as bright as the Hisense UX, so it might not be the best for a brightly lit space. It also has a lower refresh rate, which is fine for most content but not as good for fast-moving sports or gaming. On the other hand, the Hisense UX LCD offers superior brightness, making it a better fit for well-lit rooms and delivering a punchier HDR experience. Its higher refresh rate and better motion handling are advantages for sports and gaming enthusiasts. But, it falls short in contrast and viewing angles compared to the LG A1, and the larger screen size means it requires more space. Consider the LG A1 for its superior picture quality in dark rooms and the Hisense UX for its brightness and sports performance. Your choice should align with your viewing habits and room environment. About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About LG

LG, a prominent TV brand from Korea, has played a significant role in popularizing OLED TVs. OLED technology is hailed as the future of TV technology. Their TVs employ WebOS, a proprietary smart TV software that not only offers seamless functionality but also includes gaming-specific features, earning praise from players worldwide. Often regarded as the gateway to unparalleled viewing experiences, LG's mid-range OLEDs come highly recommended, making them a worthwhile investment for those willing to stretch their budget for superior quality.
