The Hisense U7H is less expensive and offers good performance for gaming and bright room viewing. However, its dark room performance and overall picture quality aren't as impressive as the newer Hisense U8K. The U8K, although more costly, boasts superior picture quality, enhanced gaming capabilities, and better audio with great speakers. It handles bright room conditions very well and excels in dark rooms. If budget is a concern and your priority is gaming in bright rooms, the U7H may suffice. Alternatively, if you're willing to invest more for an overall better viewing experience with superior sound and picture quality, go for the U8K. Give Feedback

The Hisense U8K (LCD) is very good for movies & TV, while the Hisense U7H (LCD) is good.
The Hisense U8K is considered very good for movies and cinematic TV primarily due to its excellent contrast, perfect black uniformity, and superior color performance both out of the box and in terms of color volume, which contribute to deep blacks and vibrant, accurate colors. The Hisense U7H, while still good for these purposes, has slightly lower contrast, weaker black uniformity, and somewhat less impressive color performance, resulting in less depth in dark scenes and slightly less vivid colors.

The Hisense U8K (LCD) is best in class for bright room, while the Hisense U7H (LCD) is good.
The Hisense U7H has very good SDR brightness and good HDR brightness, which makes it suitable for bright rooms, but its ability to handle reflections is only fair, affecting its performance in very bright or direct light conditions. On the other hand, the Hisense U8K excels with excellent SDR and HDR brightness, and it also has a very good reflections handling score, earning its place as the better option for viewing in bright rooms despite its slightly higher price.
The Hisense U8K (LCD) and Hisense U7H (LCD) are both only fair for sports.
The Hisense U7H falls short in response time which is crucial for reducing motion blur during fast sports action, and in handling reflections, which could be distracting in a bright room, but it has a fair motion processing ability and slightly better viewing angles which can be beneficial when watching with a group. On the other hand, the Hisense U8K handles reflections better and features more effective motion processing, yet it has a fair response time not ideal for the clearest sports action and slightly narrower viewing angles that may not be optimal for large gatherings.

How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Hisense U8K (LCD) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."
