For an all-around good viewing experience at a lower mid-range price, the Hisense U7H could be a solid choice. It performs better for gaming and in bright rooms compared to the TCL R745, and it's well-suited for watching movies and TV shows. However, for very large screen sizes or if premium build quality and speaker power are more important, the TCL R745 favors those aspects but at a higher price. The TCL R745 may not perform as well in a bright room or for sport content viewing. Both models support various HDR formats, but the Hisense U7H has a slightly better color out of the box and color gamut, which means its picture might be more vibrant and true-to-life. "We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."
