If you're looking for a high-end gaming experience with faster response times and higher brightness, the Dell Alienware monitor is a better choice, although it comes at a premium price. However, if your focus is on digital photo editing with good color accuracy and you're also looking to save money, the LG monitor could be more appropriate. The LG should also suffice for casual gaming and general productivity, but for competitive gaming or media consumption, especially in HDR, the Dell might be more satisfying.
