The MSI GF65 Thin is a gaming laptop offering strong performance and a high refresh rate screen suitable for gaming and other demanding tasks, but it sacrifices portability and has a short battery life. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is more compact and versatile, with 2-in-1 functionality and better battery life, making it ideal for business and general use, but it's less powerful for intensive tasks like gaming or engineering software. Consider how you'll use the laptop: for heavy gaming or resource-intensive applications, the GF65 Thin is better, while for productivity, flexibility, and longevity on the move, the Summit E13 Flip Evo excels. The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo has a better screen than the MSI GF65 Thin for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI GF65 Thin's display offers adequate resolution and brightness for typical tasks like browsing and document editing, yet it may fall short in color accuracy for precise engineering and design work, while its slower refresh rate limits gaming and 3D rendering smoothness. The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo provides sharp visuals and great brightness suited for everyday activities; it also covers a broader color spectrum, assisting with detailed engineering and graphic design, but like the GF65, its refresh rate isn't ideal for the high-speed demands of gaming and 3D content creation. Both laptops may accommodate casual gaming, but dedicated gamers and 3D creators should consider models with higher refresh rates to ensure fluid motion and responsiveness in fast-paced environments.

How the MSI GF65 Thin and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The MSI GF65 Thin offers a GeForce RTX 3060 on a budget. The MSI GF65 is a relatively inexpensive RTX 3060 laptop and, perhaps not coincidentally, it also comes with a slower-than-average RTX 3060 GPU. Other laptops we've tested thus far with the same GPU are about 10 to 15 percent faster. CPU performance is also slightly slower than average unless if users decide to enable Cooler Boost mode. Colors, black-white response times, Thunderbolt, and DisplayPort are either average or completely omitted. Gamers who want to maximize performance-per-dollar without sacrificing RAM or SSD upgradeability will find the lightweight MSI GF65 attractive."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
