The Lenovo V15 is a budget-friendly option that's significantly less expensive and offers decent performance for everyday tasks like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption. It's lightweight and portable, making it suitable for users who need a computer on the go and prioritize a lower price point. However, the MSI GP66 Leopard is built for more demanding applications, with a powerful processor and high-end graphics, making it better suited for gaming, 3D rendering, and intensive engineering tasks. It has a higher quality display and can handle multiple tasks more efficiently, but it's bulkier and has a shorter battery life, which can be a drawback for users needing mobility and longer use times without charging. The MSI GP66 Leopard is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo V15 is only fair.
The MSI GP66 Leopard is better suited for engineering and design tasks due to its high-performance CPU (Intel i7), more powerful GPU (Nvidia RTX 3080), and superior screen quality, which offers better color coverage and higher brightness. In contrast, the Lenovo V15, while lighter and more portable, has a less capable CPU (AMD Ryzen 5), integrated graphics, and a lower-quality TN display, making it fair for such tasks but not as robust as the MSI.

The MSI GP66 Leopard has a better screen than the Lenovo V15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo V15's screen might not satisfy users with its limited resolution and low brightness, which makes it less suitable for everyday tasks that benefit from a crisp, vivid display. When it comes to engineering and design, the V15 falls short as it likely doesn't cover a wide range of colors, which is crucial for accuracy in professional visual work. In contrast, the MSI GP66 Leopard, while providing a better overall resolution, brightness, and color range for general use and professional design, may not offer a high refresh rate, which is essential for smooth visuals in gaming and 3D applications.

How the Lenovo V15 and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
