The Lenovo LOQ 16i offers a larger screen with a higher refresh rate, making it suitable for more demanding tasks like gaming and engineering work, thanks to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and Intel i7-13620H processor. It's also more budget-friendly and has better upgradeability with available RAM and storage slots. However, it's less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight. In contrast, the Razer Book 13 is more compact and has a touchscreen, making it ideal for general use and professionals who prioritize portability and a premium build quality. Its Intel i7-1165G7 processor with Iris Xe graphics is capable but not as powerful as the Lenovo's setup, so it may struggle with intensive tasks like gaming or machine learning. The Razer also has a better color-accurate display, which is beneficial for content creation, and a longer battery life for all-day use. Choose the Lenovo LOQ 16i if you need the performance for gaming or engineering tasks and don't mind a bulkier laptop. Opt for the Razer Book 13 if you value portability, build quality, and a superior display for general use or light content creation. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | September 2023
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
