The Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a solid blend of features at a midrange price, and it's particularly less expensive than the MSI Stealth GS66, which is a premium-priced laptop. If cost is a major concern, the Lenovo might suit your wallet better. However, the MSI has a significantly better screen for fast motion, making it more suitable for intensive gaming and high-speed tasks. It also has a higher capacity battery, which suggests longer usage between charges, but it is heavier than the Lenovo. Both laptops have similar storage and memory, but the Lenovo's AMD processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU are tuned more towards engineering and general use, while the MSI's Intel processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU lean towards 3D, machine learning, and gaming performance. If you prioritize gaming or high-end graphics work and don't mind the higher price and added weight, the MSI is geared more towards your needs; if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option that still performs well for general and engineering tasks, the Lenovo is a sensible choice. How the Lenovo LOQ 15 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
