The Lenovo Legion 5 15" with an Nvidia RTX 4060 is better suited for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering simulations due to its more powerful graphics card. The tradeoff is slightly lower battery life and a little more weight, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15 with an Nvidia RTX 4050 will afford you better battery efficiency and is lighter, enhancing its portability, but its graphics are less powerful, making it less ideal for very intensive tasks. Both models come with a similar storage capacity, memory, and overall performance levels. The Legion also boasts a higher resolution screen, beneficial for tasks that require sharp visuals like photo editing. Choose the Legion for high-end tasks and visual clarity, and the LOQ for better battery life and portability. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo LOQ 15 has a better screen for content creation.
For general use, both the Lenovo Legion 5 and the Lenovo LOQ 15 offer sufficient resolution and brightness, ensuring a clear and vivid display, but they may differ in panel type which affects viewing angles and color consistency. In terms of engineering and design, they may offer similar color accuracy covering a broad spectrum of color gamuts, making them suitable for detailed work that requires precise color representation. However, for gaming and 3D applications, their lower refresh rates limit the smoothness and responsiveness, making fast-moving visuals less fluid compared to laptops with higher refresh rates.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the Lenovo LOQ 15 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
