If you focus on performance and are interested in gaming or tasks like 3D design, machine learning, or video editing, the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, with its higher price, offers advanced graphics and processing power for those intensive uses. However, if you prioritize basic functions such as web browsing, office tasks, and portability, the Lenovo V15, being more affordable and lighter, would suffice. The Legion 5 Pro likely has a shorter battery life due to its powerful components, whereas the V15 may offer longer usage on a single charge, which is convenient for on-the-go work. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | July 2023
"It doesn't quite match its Legion Pro 7i sibling as an Editors' Choice winner, but Lenovo's AMD-powered Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 is a stylish, well-built gaming laptop with solid performance at both 1080p and its sharper native resolution. It's cheaper than some comparably equipped machines and better than some similarly priced ones. That's a recipe for success, even without its frequent availability of discounts or sales. A brighter screen and longer battery life would be nice, but even as is the Legion Pro 5 earns a solid recommendation."

NotebookCheck

Marvin Gollor | April 2022
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
