Since you're considering the Lenovo Flex 5 14 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15", and noting the price difference, it's important to consider how you plan to use your laptop. The Flex 5 is generally lighter and more versatile, ideal for carrying around and versatile use like note-taking, business applications, or media consumption, and might have a longer battery life. However, the Legion 5 is typically more powerful, with better graphics and processing capabilities, making it better suited for gaming, video editing, or engineering software. If price is a concern and your needs are more about general use and portability, the Flex 5 could be the better option. But if you're looking for high performance for tasks like gaming or engineering, the extra cost for the Legion 5 could be justified. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers better gaming and 3D performance than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 mainly because it has a more powerful Nvidia RTX GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, which result in smoother gameplay and better handling of graphics-intensive tasks. While both have competent processors and good screen quality, the stronger GPU and higher refresh rate of the Legion 5 make it better suited for gaming and 3D applications.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is equipped with a stronger graphics card and a higher-resolution display, which are more suited for demanding engineering and design tasks, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 offers greater portability and a more versatile 2-in-1 design but has a less powerful integrated graphics solution that might not handle intensive applications as effectively. Additionally, although both laptops have similar RAM capacity, the Legion's better screen quality and higher screen refresh rate are advantages for design accuracy and smoother visuals, respectively, but this comes at the cost of heavier weight and lower portability compared to the Flex.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo Flex 5 14's screen resolution and brightness make it suitable for everyday tasks and some design work, but its limited color range may not display colors as accurately for professional design needs. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers higher resolution and brightness, providing vivid and sharp images for general and engineering use, but its color covering is not top-of-the-line for high-end design precision. While both laptops fall short for optimal 3D and gaming experiences due to lower refresh rates, the Legion's better overall visual quality makes it more preferable for users who prioritize screen attributes, despite the Flex's adequacy for routine applications.

How the Lenovo Flex 5 14 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
