The HP Spectre x360 is geared towards those who need high performance, with a better processor and graphics, ideal for demanding tasks like engineering, advanced 3D or machine learning work. It is also versatile as a 2-in-1 convertible which can be used as a tablet, and has a higher resolution display. However, it is heavier and typically much pricier than the LG Ultra 13. On the other hand, the LG Ultra 13 is more affordable, lighter, and therefore more portable, but it compromises on performance, making it better suited for general use rather than intensive computing tasks. Choose the HP if performance and versatility are paramount, and the LG if you prioritize cost savings and portability for everyday activities. Give Feedback

Eric Grevstad | August 2022
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."

Joshua Goldman | April 2017
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
