The HP Omen 17 offers high performance suited for intensive gaming, engineering, and 3D/machine learning tasks, but it is less portable, heavier, and generally costs more. It features a larger screen, a powerful GPU, and a higher refresh rate, which are great for demanding applications but will reduce battery life. In contrast, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is more portable and affordable, with a touch screen and longer battery life, making it suitable for general use and business applications. However, it has less storage and its integrated graphics are not designed for intensive tasks like gaming or 3D rendering. Give Feedback

The HP Omen 17 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The HP Omen 17, with a panel that provides rich colors and sharp images due to its high resolution, is well-suited for general use and engineering tasks, which benefit from accurate color representation. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is crucial. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo also offers a good display for everyday tasks and creative work due to its color accuracy, but like the HP Omen, may fall short for gaming and 3D tasks because of a refresh rate that doesn't match the needs of those fast-paced visuals.

How the HP Omen 17 and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The HP Omen 17 (2022) gaming laptop has a stylish case and hardware with lots of potential. The HP Omen 17 is a fairly unobtrusive gaming laptop. A material combination of plastic and metal gives the case a high stability and a quality surface feel. The unspectacular design is pleasing and is hardly indicative of the laptop's high performance potential. The Intel Core i7-12700H in particular is able to perform well once again. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is also strong in the gaming notebook. Demanding games run smoothly in Full HD resolution. The HP Omen 17 is a good gaming laptop that delivers partly excellent performance. But even at this performance level, cheaper alternatives are available."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
