The HP 15" Laptop typically offers more screen real estate which can be beneficial for multitasking and activities like video editing, but the larger size can make it less portable than the LG Ultra 13. If you prioritize portability and often travel with your laptop, the LG Ultra 13's smaller size and likely lighter weight can make it a more convenient choice. Consider the LG Ultra 13 if battery life is crucial, as smaller laptops often have longer battery life. However, if you need higher performance for demanding tasks such as 3D rendering or engineering software, the HP 15" with potentially more powerful hardware might serve you better. Keep in mind that increased performance can come with a higher cost and possibly a shorter battery life. If your budget is tight, you may need to sacrifice some performance or portability features. Choose based on what compromises you're willing to make regarding performance, battery life, portability, and price. Give Feedback

The LG Ultra 13 has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP 15" Laptop's screen quality is adequate for general tasks due to its resolution and brightness levels, but it falls short for engineering and design as it may not cover the wider color gamuts. The LG Ultra 13 outshines in both general use and engineering with better color accuracy and brightness but isn't ideal for gaming or 3D applications, lacking high refresh rates and potentially falling short in resolution. Both laptops don't specifically target gaming needs, where rapid on-screen movements necessitate quicker refresh rates to avoid motion blur and provide a smoother visual experience.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers LG Ultra 13 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the HP 15" Laptop is poor.
The HP 15" Laptop and LG Ultra 13 are considered fair for gaming and 3D because they have integrated graphics which are less powerful than dedicated GPUs for these tasks and their screens have a standard refresh rate. Both use their main processor's built-in graphics, ideal for lighter tasks but less suited for demanding 3D applications or fast-paced games, and their 60Hz screen refresh rate is adequate for casual gaming but not optimal for high-frame-rate experiences.

How the HP 15" Laptop and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
