If you need a laptop with better battery life and portability, the LG Ultra 13 would be a good choice as it's likely lighter and has a more power-efficient design. On the other hand, if you prioritize a larger screen and potentially better performance for multitasking or more demanding applications, the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 might be more suitable. Keep in mind, however, that larger laptops often weigh more, which could be a factor if you carry your laptop frequently. Additionally, larger devices sometimes offer more room for cooling, which can be beneficial for performance during prolonged use. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for content creation, while the LG Ultra 13 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 has a screen suitable for general tasks due to its adequate resolution and brightness, but it may disappoint gamers due to its lower refresh rate and less vibrant panel, which are more critical for an immersive gaming experience. The LG Ultra 13 offers a sharper, brighter display that benefits both everyday users and professionals in engineering and design who rely on accurate color representation, but, like the Dell, it falls short for gaming due to a refresh rate that won't keep up with fast-paced games. Both laptops are not ideal for gaming or 3D applications, as their screens lack the high refresh rates needed for smooth visuals in these scenarios.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
