The Gigabyte G5 offers strong performance for engineering and gaming with its more powerful GPU, making it well suited for intensive tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning, but with less battery life which might not be convenient for long periods away from power outlets. On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 has a significantly longer battery life and a high-resolution touchscreen that can be an advantage for general use and productivity tasks, especially with its higher RAM that improves multitasking. The Spectre is also more portable, offering easier handling for those on the move, but it lacks a dedicated GPU, which might not be ideal for gaming or GPU-intensive engineering work. Give Feedback

The HP Spectre x360 has a better screen than the Gigabyte G5 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP Spectre x360 boasts a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and good brightness, making it ideal for general use and professional tasks like graphic design that rely on color accuracy and detail. However, for gaming and 3D work, its lower refresh rate hinders its ability to display fast-moving visuals smoothly, which is a critical aspect for these activities. Conversely, while the Gigabyte G5 may have sufficient brightness and resolution for general tasks and some engineering applications, its display doesn't offer the same richness in color, affecting users who need precise color representation, and its lower quality in fast-paced gaming scenarios is due to the poor refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte G5 and the HP Spectre x360 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte G5 KE is a midrange gaming laptop that checks most boxes. Gigabyte makes good use of the Core i5-12500H and RTX 3060 Laptop GPU combo, and we find no untoward issues with overall performance. The dual-fan quad-heatpipe cooling arrangement does well to ensure that the underlying hardware doesn't throttle under load. That being said, the display is below par when compared to 2023 standards, especially when competing devices."
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
