In choosing between the Gigabyte Aero 16 and the Lenovo V15, consider the tasks you need your laptop for. The Gigabyte Aero 16, while more expensive, offers higher performance suitable for intensive tasks like 3D design, machine learning, and gaming, due to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics. It also has a higher resolution OLED display, which is better for content creation and media consumption, but this might contribute to shorter battery life. In contrast, the Lenovo V15 is more budget-friendly and sufficient for general usage, like web browsing and office applications, with lower performance components and a standard display. It's also lighter and likely to have longer battery life, making it more portable. Consider the Aero if performance and screen quality are priorities and you don't mind the cost and portability tradeoff; choose the V15 for more casual use and if price and portability are more important. The Gigabyte Aero 16 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo V15 is good.
The Gigabyte Aero 16 boasts a superior CPU, larger RAM capacity, higher screen quality with OLED technology, but it's less portable and has shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo V15, which offers decent performance for general use with adequate CPU and RAM, better battery duration, and greater portability due to its lighter design. While the Aero 16 provides an exceptional visual experience with higher color accuracy and contrast, the V15, with its TN panel, focuses more on the basics for everyday tasks and longer usage away from power outlets.

The Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo V15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aero 16 offers a sharp display and vibrant colors, making it pleasing for everyday tasks, whereas the Lenovo V15's display might seem dull and less clear due to lower resolution and brightness. The Aero 16's wide color gamuts make it ideal for engineering and design, providing accurate color representation vital for professional creative work, unlike the V15's limited color range which leads to less precise color details. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the Aero 16's lower refresh rate means less fluid motion compared to displays optimized for these activities, while the V15's poor screen attributes offer no advantage for fast-paced visuals either.

"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
