If you prioritize a vibrant color display for creative work and higher storage capacity, the Gigabyte Aero 16 with its OLED screen and ample storage is a strong choice, albeit with a slightly bulkier charger and modest refresh rate. On the other hand, the Eluktronics RP-15 offers a higher refresh rate screen for smoother visuals in gaming, and a balance of price and performance for engineering and general use tasks, but with less storage out of the box. Consider the RP-15 if higher frame rates and cost-effective performance are key for you, while the Aero 16 stands out for those in creative fields needing the display finesse and additional storage space. The Eluktronics RP-15 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aero 16 for gaming and AI, while the Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When choosing a laptop for general use, elements like a sharp resolution and a bright display make both the Eluktronics RP-15 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 suitable, as these features enhance readability and video clarity. For engineering and design tasks, the Gigabyte Aero 16 stands out with superior color accuracy and a wide color gamut, essential for precise color work and detailed visual projects. However, both models may not be optimal for gaming and 3D applications as they lack high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion and responsiveness in fast-paced scenarios.

How the Eluktronics RP-15 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
