If you want top performance for tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or engineering software, the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R is the superior choice as it has a more powerful CPU, better graphics card, and higher refresh rate display which can lead to smoother visuals. However, it is more expensive and has reduced portability due to its heavier weight. In contrast, the HP Victus 15 is more budget-friendly, and while it packs less power, it can still handle general use and lighter gaming, making it a more economical and portable option for everyday tasks. Both laptops have IPS displays for good viewing angles, but the Mech-15 G3R offers a higher resolution screen. The choice boils down to whether you prioritize high performance over cost and portability. Give Feedback

The Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, where clarity and comfort are key, the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R's higher resolution and brightness provide a crisper and more vibrant display than the HP Victus 15. In engineering and design work, where precise color representation matters, the Eluktronics laptop's wider color gamuts ensure more accurate color rendering, essential for detailed work. However, for gaming and 3D applications that benefit from fluid motion, the lower refresh rate on the Eluktronics results in less smooth gameplay compared to machines tailored for gaming with higher refresh rates.

"Everything considered, the XMG Neo 15 (Mech-15 G3R) with RTX 3070 Ti is a great gaming performer. The combination of the Ti graphics card with the new Intel 12th gen CPU is enough to go toe-to-toe, and even slightly pull ahead of the RTX 3080 in most titles, though on games with Ray-Tracing enabled, particularly with graphics set to the maximum and on higher resolutions, the additional VRAM of the RTX 3080 makes a big impact, and the 8GB RTX 3070 Ti machine simply can’t compete, even with the more powerful processor."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
