The Dell Precision 5470 offers higher performance suitable for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and machine learning owing to its stronger processor and professional-grade GPU. It's also very portable with a long battery life, making it ideal for professionals on the go. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has more storage and a slightly larger screen with touch capability, which could be better for general use like web browsing, light productivity tasks, and media consumption. It's also more affordable and has a good battery life but is less suited for demanding tasks due to its integrated graphics and less powerful processor. Consider the Dell if your work demands high performance and you need a durable, portable laptop and you're okay with spending more. Opt for the Lenovo if you prefer a more budget-friendly option that still offers decent performance for everyday tasks. Give Feedback

How the Dell Precision 5470 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Dell Precision 5470 is a mobile workstation that's far more portable than most alternatives. Between its slim 14-inch design and top-quality MIL-STD 810H build, it's one of the best options around for taking professional-grade performance on the road or to the job site. There are tradeoffs for its portability, and users of the most demanding, graphics-intensive applications will need to carry something heavier. But the Dell's exceptional battery life underscores its desirability as the most portable workstation we've seen."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
