The Dell Latitude 5330 could be a better fit if you favor portability, longer battery life, and don't require high graphical performance, making it well-suited for general business or productivity tasks. On the other hand, the HP Victus 15 is likely to deliver better performance for graphics-intensive tasks such as 3D work, machine learning, or gaming due to its dedicated graphics card, but it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which could make it less convenient for frequent travel. Keep in mind the HP Victus might cost somewhat more, which could be a factor if budget is a primary concern. Give Feedback

The Dell Latitude 5330 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for software development, while the HP Victus 15 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, where clarity, sharpness, and comfortable viewing are key, the Dell Latitude 5330's screen may fall short due to average resolution and brightness, while the HP Victus 15's better resolution and brighter display provide a more pleasant viewing experience. In engineering and design, accurate colors are crucial; the HP Victus 15 likely offers a wider color range than the Dell Latitude 5330, albeit neither may fully satisfy professionals needing extensive color gamuts. For 3D environments and gaming, the HP Victus 15 may not offer the smooth visuals desired due to a lower refresh rate, and while the Dell may share this limitation, both screens' resolutions and quality will be less of a hindrance for casual gaming rather than competitive or high-speed gaming scenarios.

The HP Victus 15 and Dell Latitude 5330 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Dell Latitude 5330 is limited in gaming and 3D tasks due to its integrated GPU which is less powerful than dedicated GPUs, and its standard screen refresh rate limits fluid motion needed for a good gaming experience. The HP Victus 15, while also rated fair, offers a more capable dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU for better graphical processing and a higher screen refresh rate conducive to smoother gameplay, but these features may come at the expense of a lower battery life and increased weight, reducing its portability.

How the Dell Latitude 5330 and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
