The Dell Inspiron 16 5630 offers higher performance suitable for intensive tasks like engineering, thanks to its more powerful processor and graphics, larger storage, and more memory. It also has a larger, higher-resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more vertical space, beneficial for productivity and multimedia. However, it's heavier and may not be as portable as the Gateway. The Gateway 14.1" is more affordable, lighter, and may suffice for general use or light tasks due to its modest processing power and storage capacity. The choice between the two depends on your need for advanced capabilities and a larger screen versus budget-friendliness and easier mobility. Give Feedback

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5630 and the Gateway 14.1" compare to other laptops
"The Gateway Ultra Slim 14" is surprisingly quiet with long battery life. The inexpensive Gateway excels at maximizing performance per dollar with lots of RAM and storage, super-quiet fan, and a long battery life. It can even house up to two M.2 SSDs which we weren't expecting from such a cheap system. However, the iffy reliability of the keyboard and USB-C port on our test unit means users should double-check for these potential issues immediately after purchasing."
