The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are similarly priced with the same storage, but the Dell offers 16GB RAM compared to Lenovo's 12GB, which can improve multitasking performance. The Dell's AMD Ryzen 7 5825U CPU has a slight edge over Lenovo's Ryzen 7 5700U for power users, but both feature the same integrated Vega 8 GPU, adequate for light gaming and everyday tasks but not intensive gaming. If longer battery life and slightly better portability are priorities, Lenovo has the edge, and it also includes a number pad and a backlit keyboard. Both have touchscreens, but the Dell's 16:10 aspect ratio offers more vertical screen space, which can be beneficial for productivity. Consider Dell for better performance in multitasking or productivity apps, and Lenovo for enhanced portability and longer battery life. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for software development, and content creation.
If you need a laptop for general use, both the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" have displays that provide an adequate viewing experience thanks to their satisfactory resolution and brightness, but may not stand out in terms of crispness or vibrancy. For engineering and design work, where color accuracy is crucial, neither laptop would be ideal as their color gamut coverage doesn't meet the high standards required for precision tasks. Gamers and those working with 3D graphics may find these laptops lacking because they don't have the high refresh rates necessary for smooth motion and may only offer modest resolutions and panel types which are less than optimal for immersive or detailed visuals.

How the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
