The Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is a lower midrange-priced laptop that's typically less expensive, making it a more budget-friendly option with more storage and a higher memory capacity compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15". If you prioritize a stronger processor for potentially better performance in more demanding tasks like engineering or gaming, the Lenovo comes with a higher-end CPU, which may make it somewhat more expensive but could provide a smoother experience for intensive applications. Both laptops offer similar screen size and quality, but the Lenovo also has a touchscreen, adding versatility at the cost of battery life. Consider the Dell for more storage and a tighter budget, or the Lenovo for better processing and a touchscreen feature. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 for general use, and engineering and design.
For general use, both the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" have adequate resolution and brightness, but the types of panels they are equipped with may not provide the most vivid colors or viewing angles. In engineering and design tasks, where color accuracy is crucial, these laptops offer fair performance, but they may lack the full color gamut coverage professionals often need for precise work. When it comes to 3D and gaming, the moderate resolution and screen type are acceptable, however their lower refresh rates will not be ideal for fast-paced visuals, potentially making them less desirable for these purposes.

How the Dell Inspiron 15 3511 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model, and with the inclusion of Windows 11, the 3511 is already a step above its competition. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are drawbacks to factor in, but it's still one of the better 15-inch budget laptops on the market, especially when you consider it's under $400."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
