The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is described as often being somewhat more expensive than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s. If you prioritize a larger screen and potentially better processing power, you might lean towards the Dell. On the other hand, if you prefer something lighter and more compact with equivalent memory, the Lenovo could be a better choice. The tradeoff comes down to whether you value the Dell's bigger display and possible performance edge over the Lenovo's portability and lower cost. Additionally, consider the Lenovo's higher resolution screen for sharper visuals, which may be advantageous if you work with high-resolution content or enjoy media consumption. Both come equipped with similar graphics and Windows 11 Pro operating systems. Consider the specific needs of your work or lifestyle to determine which attributes are more critical for you. NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | August 2022
"The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is for power users on a budget. If you're looking to maximize CPU and GPU performance on your next 14-inch laptop, then consider the pricier Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14. If you're looking for a thin-and-light 14-inch Ultrabook, then the Asus Zenbook 14 or LG Gram 14 may be better options. For the best of both worlds, however, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420 rides a fine line between extreme performance and portability while keeping prices at reasonable levels. Frequent travelers who rely on performance beyond what the Core U-series and integrated graphics series can offer will find the Dell to be a solid solution."

The Verge

Monica Chin | July 2021
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
