I can provide general advice to help you decide between the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and the HP Victus 15. If you prioritize a higher build quality and more compact design that's easier to carry around, you might lean towards the Dell Inspiron. On the other hand, if gaming or graphics-intensive tasks are more your focus, and you want a larger screen, the HP Victus could be a better fit even if it means a bit more weight to carry. The Dell could offer better battery life for longer work sessions away from power outlets, but this might come at the cost of some performance compared to the HP, which may have better graphics capabilities, suited for demanding applications or games. Ultimately, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus could be for you if you're looking for something portable with solid performance for everyday tasks and are willing to invest a bit more. However, if you're more into gaming or need a machine with more power for intensive tasks and you're okay with a heftier build and potential tradeoffs in battery life, the HP Victus 15 could be the better choice. Consider what your daily usage looks like and which aspects - portability, performance, or price - are most important to you. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | August 2022
"The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is for power users on a budget. If you're looking to maximize CPU and GPU performance on your next 14-inch laptop, then consider the pricier Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14. If you're looking for a thin-and-light 14-inch Ultrabook, then the Asus Zenbook 14 or LG Gram 14 may be better options. For the best of both worlds, however, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420 rides a fine line between extreme performance and portability while keeping prices at reasonable levels. Frequent travelers who rely on performance beyond what the Core U-series and integrated graphics series can offer will find the Dell to be a solid solution."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
