The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 offers more storage and a smaller, slightly more portable design compared to the Gateway 15.6", which has a larger screen but less storage capacity. The Dell uses an AMD Ryzen processor and comes with a touchscreen, making it ideal for multitasking and interactive tasks. The Gateway, powered by an Intel processor, lacks a touchscreen but has a larger display, which could be preferable for extensive media consumption or productivity tasks. If you need more portability and interact with your device directly, consider the Dell; for a bigger screen and potentially lower cost, the Gateway might be the better option. Give Feedback

Eric Grevstad | August 2023
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."

Francisco Lahoz | July 2022
"Some concessions have to be made when shopping for a budget laptop. Walmart's Gateway Ultra Slim laptops succeeds on the affordability front and delivers serviceable specs and good battery life, though it's hard to claim it's the best (or even particularly good) at any particular aspect. Its build quality, especially the touchpad, is mediocre, and its performance is decent but doesn't lead the way. The Gateway does undercut the cost of some competitors and offers ample storage with good connectivity, so it's not to be ignored."
